BAD AIM

We used to have New Hope, an excellent recycling shop at the Transfer Station. It was popular, it was run well, it did an excellent job, and was of great benefit to the community because of the vast range it always for very low prices, and for the tens of thousands it gave to community groups each year.

Then Auckland Council set up AIM, took aim and very deliberately killed New Hope dead.

But its aim was only accurate enough to kill New Hope. After that it was way off: what it installed in place of New Hope is hopeless, worthless, stupid. And hideously expensive.

That is of course normal for mainlanders, who forever think they know better how to run our island than we do. They don't, they never will. But they love wasting mountains of rates as they excrete their profligate blunders into our living-room.
